Oculus home/Dash functionality appears broken

Difficult to say at which exact point it started, but within the past few weeks, when in flight in VR, if I press the Oculus home button to bring up my dash, the dash menu lags out and becomes unresponsive. It appears distorted. I’m sure that previously, oculus home would open with the regular oculus home background but since I started getting this issue, the sim is trying to overlay the Oculus dashboard in front of the sim so I can still see the sim behind it, though the sim framerate drops down to about 8fps Sometimes waiting a while will allow oculus dash to recover
When testing, it seems like it recovers straight away if MSFS isn’t the focused window on the desktop

The problem is more reproducable in heavier scenery it seems, but it isn’t tied to frame rate as my frame rate is always above 30-35fps

This renders oculus dash unusable for me at the present time. I normally use it to overlay windows in the sim.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers, clean manual install of Oculus home. The problem definitely seems to lie with MSFS somewhere.

That’s a common problem for Oculus. I have been experiencing the same since the release of the sim and i don’t think it’s only MSFS related as it happened with other demanding titles. I think what happens here is that Oculus Dash is using so high GPU resources ending up with GPU not to handle both operations. With V41 Oculus update they have made some more improvements to the link but let’s see.
