Hello all, first post so ill try to make it simple. Im having an issue with launching VR. Every time I do, it seems like it tries to launch but quickly goes back to oculus main screen. It repeats this constantly until I disable VR mode. I can see a glimpse of the cockpit for a split second each time it tries to connect. Any thoughts? I’ve been running it fine for a few months now. My registry looks good and all. Running on oculus Beta as well
I think I am having a similar issue to yours… I recorded a video of what I’m seeing:

I have checked the registry, enrolled in oculus beta, updated drivers (both Oculus and NVIDIA), and nothing has worked, unfortunately. I did notice however that VR mode works flawlessly in a training flight, but anywhere else I run into this issue and it makes it completely unplayable, no matter if I start VR mode mid-flight, or enable it in the menu before launching a flight.
I don’t have this with my CV1 but you’re not alone and find several threads with the exact same problem, even using a Reverb G2 WMR headset. So it seems the problem is MSFS itself and not headset dependent.

You should fill a Zendesk ticket using your video, that can do this thing to be resolved quicker if Devs are aware and can see this.
Yup! this is it!
Thank you, this makes me feel better. Hope they patch it soon
That it…awaiting updates…!!!
Cheers, will do
@CaptIonaM @Offic3erDan76 Hey, I found a solution that worked for me. (After a considerable amount of trial and error by the way!) I would encourage you to give this a try and see if it works for you…
I launched MSFS normally without any of the VR software running. My VR headset was not on when the game launched. I was actually flying around on monitor for a while when I decided to try to enable VR mode. Oculus started up and it worked! I was able to load correctly into the game without the screen flashing at all, and I successfully flew around in VR for a good half an hour with no issues.
I backed out to the main menu and tried a different aircraft at a different airport, and it also loaded into the game completely fine. (At this point, VR software was running.) I have not tried it since, but I think this is at least a temporary workaround. Give it a shot!
