Odd Resolution Option with Pimax Crystal Light

In MSFS2024, I must have changed a setting that caused my Pimax Crystal Light’s resolution to change to 3500x3791 instead of what I’d originally set it at, which was 3500x4142. I set the resolution override in the OXR Toolkit.

I did download and run the DLSSTweaks recently, and if that’s it, I simply can’t find the setting that would have changed the resolution scaling.

Anyone know what may have caused the resolution scaling to change? It’s just odd that the 3500 setting has been the same, but the second resolution range scaled from 4142 to 3791.

Thanks for any guidance!

FOV setting in Pimax Play perhaps?

Hidden Area Mask?

Thanks Matt, all seems fine in Pimax Settings. Even Uninstalled/Reinstalled Msfs2024, Toolkit and PimaxXR this AM.

I fully Uninstalled the Toolkit (including folders and registry keys, then Reinstalled it, though I don’t think that’s the issue.

I’ll keep tinkering, and the help is appreciated!

That’s interesting, I didn’t check that. Could have accidentally changed that. Will check shortly.

Appreciate the idea!

Michail, just toggled the HAM in the Toolkit, and regretfully, nothing changed. I’m still stuck at 3500x3791 when choosing 3500 in the toolkit. While it didn’t work, I really appreciate the recommendation.

Interesting to know at least!

I’m at a loss as to what it could be.

Same. I thought maybe I’d triggered something messing with the DLSSTweaks software, but ruled that out after this morning’s reinstall of MSFS2024.

Thanks again for trying!

Yeah, nothing in there should do that.

(Updated to share - adjusting Pimax Play vertical offset settings does indeed affect resolution scaling in MSFS2024)

Closing the loop, my resolution is back to normal. I did figure out what caused it, but not until after uninstalling/reinstalling MSFS2024, Pimax Play, PimaxXR, OXR Toolkit (including all residual folders and registry entries).

I had adjusted the Vertical Offset settings to better set the mid-point for my prescription lenses in Pimax Play, and for whatever reason, that triggered an adjustment to the scale of the resolution.

Regardless, tonight, everything was back to normal, and all is looking great.

Thanks to both of you for your support!

I’ve messed with those settings before since I can never get both lenses perfect at the same time (drives me crazy). I don’t think it had any impact on the resolution.
