this is on the microsoft store version both pc, and xbox and current version of the sim pc version is current build of windows 11 running nvidia rtx 2060 gpu with current drivers and nothing in the community folder. the issue with both is as follows
i started having a really odd issue with the sim today on both the PC and on my series X at the same time!
some background info that might help. i bought the deluxe version of the sim on the pc when it first came out. which ment i also own the console version. and do not need a game pass subscription! but i do have a current and active game pass subscription.
now when i start the sim on my pc thru the shortcut. all i get is black screen and thats it. but i can get around this oddly enough by launching the sim by starting command line in administrator mode and launching the sim thru the command line. and then the sim starts and runs normally? and tihs is on windows 11 current nvidia drivers.
now when i try to launch the sim on my series x it wont start and displays a message saying i need to have an active gampass account! 1. i do have an active gamepass account 2. its not needed as i bought the sim!
the sim was working fine and normally on both platforms up until last thurs when i last flew on the sim on my pc. and a few dayys before that last time i flew on my series x.
