Please see below for details on the upcoming Fly-In Event.

Get that sunscreen and those sun glasses ready because we’re going to the Sunshine State for some scenic flying!

We’ll start at Key West International Airport and fly along the Overseas Highway (US 1).

At Islamorada we will make a left turn and make our way to the beautiful Everglades. Be on the lookout for alligators!

After spending some time there, we’ll continue the flight along the shoreline towards Key Largo and Ocean Reef Club. Continuing on, the route will take us to Miami where we will do a bit of scenic flying and celebrity spotting, make sure to bring your camera!

For the final leg of the flight, we’ll follow the coastline all the way up north until we reach our destination airport: Fort Lauderdale Executive.

Around 5 minutes prior to take off begin taxiing to the active runway (will be announced). We will do a parallel start and after that start departing to the east.

We will use live weather.

To communicate with others, a voice channel on the "Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Discord” at https://discord.gg/msfs will be available to join.

It is advised in this flight to turn off both aircraft collisions and terrain collisions. If you do crash, you can use “slew” mode to join the pack. If the pack will be too scattered before the first stop, we will use slew on a defined point to regroup.

Cool! no restriction on using GA or Airliners?

Our cruising speed will be around 150-200 kts, so flapped-down airliner should be possible  However, I prefer GA myself

So no XCub this time?
I guess I’ll go with the G36 Bonanza then, anyway my preferred option (except for the bugs with dimming and shutting off MFD since last patch).

@simtom2: Is there an A320 pizza livery in the making?

Maybe, we changed the plan a bit… It’s shorter now, so X-Cubs can participate again

There is one already

And yes, I’ll be flying the X Cub myself.

Best VFR weather, rain and thunderstorms  Well, I just don’t see anyone here

Yep, just got confused a bit by timezone

That was great fun, thanks all

My Sim didn’t want to switch from generic models which is why simtom and a few others was obviously flying a piper with gears down
But anyway, was a nice ride and interesting live weather! Thanks for the stream!

That was really fun. Thanks all!

Joined in the second half and it was great fun. Thank you!

Which mod are you using for the green labels?

It’s a work in progress, a newer version of my small nameplates which is not yet released. The other versions are here:

I’ll tag you once this version is also available.
The red highlighting of you will not be part of it though  It’s just for my easier orientation.
