FLIGHT DETAILS

This week we’re celebrating the release of World Update 21: Australia with a flight Down Under to the Australian Outback! Our flight plan will see us fly over Uluru, one of Australia’s most well-known landmarks and an area that is sacred to the local Aboriginal people.

Optional Payware Add-on: Simmers may choose to fly the new Local Legend 24: CAC Boomerang, an Australian-built fighter plane from WWII. This purchase is entirely optional and is not required to join this fly-in.

MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:
2026-05-08 Australian Outback.PLN (2.3 KB)

So…. Nobody got kangaroo Jack snapped?

I think I have flown in Australia only once before in the sim, that time I checked out Sydney so this event’s route was definitely something that I probably would not do by myself. Which would have been a shame because the scenery was quite a pleasant change from what I usually see and Uluru was a nice sight to see.
