FLIGHT DETAILS

The iniBuilds TriStar Airliner recently released on the in-sim Marketplace, and we’ve been thrilled by the community’s response to this classic trijet from the 1970s!

For our Community Fly-In group flight this week, we’ll be showcasing the TriStar with special guest co-host Steve from iniBuilds who will share lots of great insight about this aircraft. Our flight will be a scenic tour over the US Southwest departing from Palmdale, Calfornia (where the TriStar was assembled between 1968 and 1984) and arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor International.

Optional Payware Add-on: Participants may choose to purchase the TriStar Airilner add-on by developer iniBuilds from the in-sim Marketplace. This purchase is entirely optional and is not required to join this fly-in.

MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:
2026-04-17 iniBuilds TriStar Showcase.PLN (1.7 KB)

MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC, PS5, and Xbox can import the flight plan from the new Flight Planner tool at this link.

You can find instructions on how to load a flight plan from the Flight Planner website to your in-sim EFB on your PC or PS5/Xbox console on our forums here.

We will be starting at KPMD. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

A nice flight once more. I picked a fast aircraft, arrived early at the destination, then changed over to something slower.

IniBuilds should share a external online TriStar model with liveries to put it in the community folder, to spot other online users, and I don´t want to flight rightnow airliners, but watch it with quality in the air would be great. This should be a requisite to sell in Marketplace.

Hope to join to one of these Friday flight someday, by the moment a bit “early” for me.

Being in 2020 means no Tristar..wich annoys me a lot but nontheless..

So i took a Citation instead of an A320 or A310 (im not big on airliners)

We had @HotwingsNZ in a M339 (i almost took the L-39) Antg01 in a Beech 60 @lwrventures in a F-16A320 , @gotmoney86 in a Rhino @JpFlyingHigh A320, @TheHunDude in an A225 i dont have the model sadly wich would been something to see and @HeXtHeLeGeNd318 DarkStar

Departure with @JpFlyingHigh liveries changing randomly

@HotwingsNZ M339 and @gotmoney86 SuperHornet join alongside @lwrventures extrange F-16 model

Someone definitily got a TCAS advisory

Antg01 “B60T”

And here comes the @HeXtHeLeGeNd318 Darkstar

And arrival

Decided to take the AN-225 for a spin for this event. Unfortunately I rarely have time to fly this plane in the sim and when I do I usually mess up the landing procedure. This time was no exception so in the end I ended up overshooting the airport and crashing the plane. Which means no group photo for me with the fellow 2020 simmers this occasion. :smiling_face_with_tear:
