This was my first community fly-in. I’m in Canada so the start times for these usually don’t work for me, but I was on vacation this week.

It was pretty cool! I used the TBM 930 because it’s what I’ve been learning to fly the past few months. It was a good thing I did have an aircraft that was faster than the recommendations, because it allowed me to get back to the pack easily if I strayed off course. And that happened quite a bit, because I am on Xbox and while I am appreciative of the abbreviated flight plan that hobanagerik posted, following it would have put me far away from the pack. I used heading mode a lot, just so I could adjust and then sit back a little bit and enjoy the views.

I hope it’s alright I ask a couple quick Qs:

  1. Does anyone know how to turn off the audible traffic warning on the TBM? Had that going off quite a bit on this flight. :smile:

  2. At the end of the vid is an ATR that is flying underneath me, but it shows up as a default airliner. Is that because I do not own the ATR, or is this an Xbox limitation?
