Saw the movie on Tuesday and I’m not giving any spoilers for others.
In the pop up menu make sure that notification is enabled follow the instructions and bake sure they click green then once you land and stop it should complete
I wrote a little autopilot program for the darkstar to hold course and altitude to cover larger distances

Go into “Options” “General Options” => “Accessibility” and then turn ON Menu Animations. This worked for me.

true, Macerick NOT installed, instead it shows the Experimental Darkster in Hangar. If Intey to fly Top Gun Activities in CTD
Cool addon! I just saw the movie and it is a really good tie-in. The sound design during the missions really stood out, very nice!

I’ve been very pleased with the fact that most comments about this DLC have been positive and it’s truly pushed the bar of quality for msfs in the right direction. I for one have enjoyed it very much! Keep it up micro/sobo. I love it!!

Super fun DLC.
I’m having a blast with the low flying challenges and the Darkstar mission mimics the tension of the sequence in the film quite closely with the music cues and slow burn toward Mach 10. The use of the soundtrack in all levels overall really elevates the experience and makes you feel like you are in the movie.
It’s a pretty smart use of the plot too, with even the training challenges designed around key scenes.
I get the interest in dogfighting from some folks but there’s very little of that in both Top Gun films anyway. I think the low flying challenges alone are truer to the spirit of the new movie and more exciting than any dogfight would’ve been.

Trust me, seeing the movie is almost a prerequisite to trying the DLC lol.
I just watched the movie last night and I was 100% more excited to dive into the DLC after, I’m having a blast! I have not seen a movie theater that full in 2+ years and many people there were hyped.

Successfully completed the first low-altitude challenge (Riff Lake). After that, no completed challenge counts anymore. Even though I get a score, the scores are not added to the menu. Restarted, came back another day, tried another challenge. Nothing helps.

I have a question. I used to play fspassengers addon in fsx a lot. I liked the way that you got random failures on your aircraft when you saved money on maintainance for example. Is there a similar addon for fs2020? I googled a lot and found infos about onair, fseconomy, pacx etc. But all of them dont seem to have these specific addons. Or maybe im not reading accurately enough?
Would really be happy about some help.
