Official Discussion: Upcoming Hotfix Announcement

Reporting issues is one thing.
Attacking MS and Asobo on their integrity and commitment to the PC version without any reason to do so is another.

Of course they’re bothered but they have to proritise too and CTDs, weather and graphics are the current key issues.

In some cases it’s just accurate? I’m not personally insulting anybody?

Hi

I would like developers pay attention to other issue is supposed adressed by the last hotfix, I talking about the memory leaks issue.
In fact the problem seems to be there actually, he performance degradation is clearly noticiable after no more than 2 hours flight. Atemptting to land with teen FPS (coming from 60’s por more) is more than a challenge, is directly absolutely frustrating.
The mentioned issue is really very present in the community forums.
Regards

I agree, there are some bugs that I have encountered but nothing that rendered the game unplayable or would justify threatening lawsuits etc. A sense of perspective is key.

Yeah. Thank you very much for all all of this.

In this way youÂŽll be offering to the old and new flightsimmer pilots the best simulator ever.

Thanks.

They mentioned it in their last talkback stream, they are continually finding and plugging leaks as they arise. That’s why it is important such bugs must be reported to zendesk with as much detail as possible.

Indeed, actually reporting bugs or issues in the correct way would do more good then the replication of endless threads about deliberate gfx degradation because of the launch on a system that is probably more powerful than many users PC setup. The forums over the last week have been a painful space to visit.

Because that’s the business they and Asobo have decided to get into. You only need to watch the livestreams to see the passion and commitment these people have for their product.

To automatically jump to the conclusion that they don’t care about the product and only money says far more about the accusers than MS/Asobo.

Thanks for bringing up my (and many others) problem.

Couple this with (at least for me) no way to start a flight from the world map (after working around the “essantial packages missing” issue with removing a random folder in the OneStore file system) I’m not happy at all and surprised this bug was not included in the list.

Hiding a rumour at the bottom of a post does not constitute as an announcement of a forth-coming Hotfix.

Now if they had responded as they have now by putting a nice big banner up detailing the Hotfox, it leaves no missunderstanding of the plan moving forward.

You’re just reinforcing my stance, not a good look.

A particular issue with the Baron
post SU5 the cockpit switch for Prop Sync is not operable

You probably want to post that in the bugs group, rather than here. Unless they are trawling this thread for bugs.

Did you also notice how the cam doesn’t move as high up as before when trying to look out of the cockpit? Just wondering if I’m the only one
But for some planes it indeed seems restricted.

Will the shadow issues (video) and dithering (screenshot) be fixed, they only just appeared after SU5, see video and screenshot

Edit: Never mind, just read on Aerosoft forum that this is being fixed, i didn’t realise the problem was their end

  • CTDs – We are currently investigating and are planning on several fixes for World Update 6.

So the patient is dead on the table and you’re going to give him a haircut and fix a few LOD issues and a couple of other bugs that should never have got beyond QC in the first place. Forget about the fact that a sizeable proportion of your customers can’t even run the game at the moment. All I can hope is that your so-called hotfix will drag even more players into the CTD morass so that the pressure increases on Asobo to actually sort this out rather than attempt to sweep it under the carpet. Now you’re saying we need to wait three weeks or so before we can even hope to see some improvement, maybe? I honestly believe that you don’t have a clue what is causing this, and three weeks is going to make no difference to that.

We don’t care about the quality of the graphics being HIGH or ULTRA, that’s something you do AFTER you have a stable product. You hear that sound Microsoft? That’s the sound of the door slamming behind thousands of customers leaving MSFS for the competition.

Yes. The world map / aircraft config is comprehensively broken.

There were no “mistakes”. This updated was focused on Xbox; almost all the problems come out because the game has been optimized for the Xbox ignoring what would have happend on PC.
We noticed all these issues in one hours after update release.
Do you think they didn’t know them?
Do you think they did’t try this before release?
All of this has bene ignored and this is not professional.
Why do I have to play an Xbox game for a month waiting for them to fix it?
Is this going to be fixed by WU6? Maybe. We will see.
And then we will be waiting for them to messed it up again. That’s for sure.
