[OFFICIAL] Real vs. Sim Screenshots

That is nicely modeled in the game, great screenshot!

if you really must (mis-)use this thread as your personal advertising space at least try to take a screenshot that matches the real photo.
Also the rules state you must have taken the photo yourself …

WW2-era blimp hangars at old Tustin base on the approach to KSNA. The north hangar (at left) burned down recently, with only the doors at the ends still standing. The south hangar (at right) remains intact.

North hangar lives on in MSFS! Best quality I could do on cloud streaming, I’ll try again on my 4K screen at home later.

Just a friendly reminder of the guidelines for posting in this topic:

“You have taken both the screenshot and the IRL shot yourself, or you have received permission from whoever took the IRL shot, with credit written in your post”

That must be one of the best ever. It took me a while to figure it out. Still not 100% sure though.

Yea, right!!! I would not bet my house on it that’s for sure. Amazingly similar. In fact I really don’t know which is the real photo looking again.

Actually. Probably top is real. Only because there are trees in the bottom one. But maybe they really are there?!?

Amazing!
The melting vegetation only reveals that the Second one is from MSFS

It’s the size of the trees that always does it. Hopefully in 2024 they’ll fix the gigantrees.

Yep, vegetation gives it away…

Here is a landing at Helsinki, I think it’s my 2060 which is having a hard time. When I’m at the gate and bring all sliders to ultra it’s very similar.

Approach into LMPA Madeira Airport.
Not perfectly lined up - I did ask the pilot to go back round for another go, but he wasn’t having it apparently.
