Seems it was introduced with 1.8.3 ? Didn’t notice there were power pylons before.

yes, they were added - and in some cases blocking runways (RWY22 at LSGG), as they are too tall :-/

Haven’t seen any in my area (ELLX)… are these rolled out in batches maybe?
Yep saw some yesterday.
Immediately noticed there’s no wires.
And felt sad that we will never be able to collide with the wires anyway, so they will just be more scenery.
