I might be wrong, but to me it seems that even FS2024 lacks such a thing. It cannot be that difficult to have an optional indicator and maybe a silder in the toolbar.

Itās funny, I keep seeing these posts with bugs/wishlist items for FS2024, find myself agreeing, going to vote, and noticing I voted for it already because it was reported as a bug with FS2020, and apparently remains unfixed in FS2024.

Still unfixed and yet addon/mod people can code it easily. Should be in the game like every flight simulator before MSFS 2020/2024

You can start the stop watch and check the seconds timer to see your rate.

Thanks for letting us know. I was wondering how to actually verify the rate. Another way I found is by reducing the sim rate to the slowest, and then increasing exactly 4 times.
And if the mod gets updated to msfs2024, you can also use shift-z stats which Iāve been using for msfs2020.
You can use Shift+Z already, it works in 2024.
This doesnāt work in 2024ā¦ was about to add that bugā¦ both UTC time and timer both continue at normal rates even when excelleratedā¦ I can never seem to get the sim back to normal 1x speed in 2024ā¦ in 2020 i just used to count to six as fast as i can and that seems to be 1x. (watching the clock)
Personally, I donāt want anything that breaks immersion. I just want a simple keybinding that i can reset sim rate to 1x. For the first 2 weeks of this addition Iād prefer it to reset it to a random integer between 0.3x and 1.73x just for fun but please then fix it a few weeks after.

Just tested it, and shift-z does work in 2024, but not in career mode. No mods work in career mode. It does work in free flight.
As for the timer thing, time does slow down and speed up but only in the EFB timer. Time does not get affected in the PFD/MFD timers which is really weird.

Thanks for the EFB timer mentionā¦ didnāt realize that (didnāt use it ever as I used the G1000 or other aircraft clocks in past)

My hack up to this point has been to set a VNAV path in my FPL on the G1000 etcā¦ and use the āTime to Top of Descentā clock as it seems to speed up and down with sim rate.

Well, I just voted for this. I see this request has been around a long while. This needs to be in game (FS2024). As a VR player, it needs to be on the EFB or on the toolbar. Right now I can take the headset off and use āSim Rate Banditā to see where its currently set.
A sim rate reset would be a god send in this game.
At present I set the timer going in the EFB and just try and change the speed so seconds are actually seconds.
I was not expecting this post to be from 2020ā¦
A small GUI element that shows up when you are not in a simrate of 1x would be great.
