Like @tclayton2k said, check the start and GEN switches. Here is a previous post detailing that:

Make sure the start switch goes back to OFF. If you don’t do this, the generators will never come on line. Then move the generator switch up to reset and then ON. (or at least to ON, not sure the sim models the reset position)

After start, look up at your amp meter on the overhead panel. It should tell you if the generators are on line and recharging the battery after start. (make sure it is in the positive range, not in the negative) Although I am not positive how detailed they have modeled the amp meter in the sim.

Then repeat the same process to start the left engine.
