Once wheels up plane just corkscrews into the ground

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: I launched two different planes and found that once they got off the runway the plane would corkscrew itself into the ground, at first I thought it was one of the planes I was using because it hasn’t officially been cleared to fly in the game I believe it’s the King Air C90 the first I chose the second time it was the Beechcraft Bonanza that was released with the game, I then thought I would double check to make sure my controller wasn’t getting hit with the stick drift issue so I changed up the controller and tried it again and same issue.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Everytime

*I currently dont’ have a video on hand, but if you want one just request it and I’ll get one up, it’ll be listed through twitch though just so you know.

Extra Note:

If you got nobody to beta test these updates on Xbox let me know, I can stay on the beta if that’s the case as I have both games installed and I know that weekly you folks drop a new update, all you need to do is ask.

Sounds like your stalling. Are you lifting off at the correct speed for the weight and into the wind?

Yes, I think a video will be useful in this case to see the issue.

Make sure your controls are free and correct. Sounds like your joystick is not working.

Does this mean you are not controlling the aircraft at all? If so, unless you have the aircraft perfectly trimmed - which is difficult in real life and all but impossible in the sim - you cannot expect the aircraft to fly itself.

yes I’m lifting off at the correct speed, I’m constantly fighting the controls in the game the moment I let go of them I corkscrew and crash. I never had that prior to the beta update.

joystick works 100% I tested two controllers they both acted the same.

I don’t know about you but when I get my plane in the air 95% of the time once it reached cruising i can put the controls down and not fight with them constantly, both in the previous game and this game up until this update I don’t sit and constantly hold the controls tbh.

Check to make sure another control didn’t inadvertently get bound to your elevator/aileron axes.

I don’t understand why, last night I couldn’t fly to save my life but here’s my test video and it’s not reacting the same way it did last night

Oh and I’m literally holding the controller with two fingers, that’s it. My second hand only touches the controller to put up the landing gear.

I’ll be flying again later today, i’ll stream it again just incase I run into the problem I did last night, unless you guys put out an update in the last 12 hours or perhaps I didn’t have the latest update at the time I honestly don’t know but I know at the start of the video (21 seconds in) when it showed a huge spotlight on the one area, that didn’t happen last night when I flew.

I see. I had a similar issue awhile back. All my aircraft would rotate left, and no amount of trim would solve it. I ran all the calibration programs for my controls over and over again. Eventually I reinstalled Windows and the sim, and the problem went away. I don’t know what causes it, and my solution is extreme, I know, but I have rebuilt this PC a dozen times in the last year.

Apologize for double reply I’m sure your busy but this was my follow up flight, I did nothing different:

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m playing on Xbox and this doesn’t happen if I wasn’t in the beta.

Thanks for the video. Before taking off we can see the rudder moving when you realign on the runway. Before taking off, could you move your ailerons left/right to check if they are moving ? (did not see this on the video).

The second video where I had to realign I never had that happen before, each time I fly my plane is already lined up perfectly to fly.

As for the ailerons, I dont’ think you can move them on Xbox as I never been given the option before.

Yes you can, there is no difference with PC version and it is mandatory to control an aircraft. So I guess you may be missing a binding configuration related to aileron axis and that is why you cannot control the aircraft on the roll axis.

I honestly never touch the ailerons, I didn’t do so in msfs2020 and I haven’t done them in 2024 that problem literally just started in the beta patch.

This is a key command to control your aircraft. Could you check it to make sure it is correctly configured on your Razer Wolverine V2 Controller ?:

That has nothing to do with the take off, in both videos I literally hold the xbox controller with two fingers and my thumb is on the X button to accelerate the only time during take off anything touches anything besides the X button is when i put my landing gear up so my second hand touches the controller to help out with that, I do the exact same thing in every take off I do. Including the second video where things go completely sideways.

Oh and..

Before taking off, using the external view, are you seeing the ailerons moving using the < L > axis ?
