Online connectivity seems to be down. Loading background doesn’t appear, marketplace unavailable and world map only loads blocky low res. I can only assume that would mean live weather is down as well…

I’m in Sydney too and the same thing is happening to me. Looks like there is a service outage here (not Microsoft) as I’m also having trouble accessing some other overseas websites. Most local sites are fine (although news.com.au is also down). Also I ran a Speedtest and my line speed is perfect. FYI, I’m on Optus NBN.

I’m Optus too!!! It’s so weird, I can access the internet but can’t sign into a lot of services!

Apparently the Optus DNS servers are down, restricting access to a large portion of the Internet if you are an Optus user. Ironically it includes the Optus reporting service, so you can’t even use their app to report an issue, but I’m sure they are well aware of what is happening. We will just have to wait for them to restore services.

@KBtheNomad thanks for the info. A few people at my work are pulling their hair out trying to log onto rosters and stuff, now I can let them know the issue 
and there is no chance to configure a different one ? ( eg. google 8.8.8.8 cloudflare 1.1.1.1 , etc )
