I had the “no connection” notification but while reading this thread, my download kicked in and it seems to be going well - and near top speed.
Woo hoo… It’s working now! Downloading commenced.
Same issue for me on PC, although updrade was completed. You’re not alone!
Could it be caused by servers overloaded because of everybody currently updating to SU11 ?
Still down for me Malta/Europe. Status is offline, Servers nothing showing. Hope we get it back at some point. Managed to complete the update but obviously cannot update from content manager and the marketplace is greyed out obviously so no A310 either.
Oh yea you right, I didn’t even notice them before, good point 
that is true. but they hyped the hell out of this update, cant really blame the fans for getting a little antsy. they even published the exact time it would be released around the world. they knew people would run to update.
Oh nice so i am quitting Uncharted and back to Flight Sim
no they should have been prepared plain and simple

Im in the A310 right now but cant use (cant look the instruments) it because there is a big red warning window each 30 sec poping up.

Anyone ever stop and think, as I did, “Hey, thousands of people will try and download this update at the same time. It’s gonna be just like a freeway at peak hour. Congestion caused not by a system, but by individual drivers choosing to all use a finite resource simultaneously. I’m going to wait until every man and his dog has gone then download trouble-free.”

I am now downloading the update at full speed. I think it was a server issue not related to server overload.
How do i invoke the install download? I’m in the game version 1.29.28.0, but I don’t see the download prompt…was using the su 11 beta…Is there a switch I need to flip? also steam user here…
Downloading and the ingame online service are different features ^^ The second feature still not work here.^^
I left it on and after a few minute I was able to update.
I have a 1 Gig internet and it downloaded at around 300 Mbps, not bad!!

apparently it seems to work now in the south of france.
Everything is smooth and fine here. I’m connected to US-WEST server using Steam MSFS version.
Installation was smooth. 1GB steam download, 20GB updates, 500MB update from Content Manager.
Currently flying halfway from KJFK-KSFO with FBW Experimental. No network issue or else…

The issue with online services should be resolved. We will continue to monitor this situation closely in case it returns. If you were in the sim when the servers went offline, you may need to re-enable online services from the options menu.
