Is it just the flap animation or does it not deploy?

If not deploying, it will be very noticeable and probably cause increasingly severe yaw, roll and result into a spin towards the mud, depending on flap setting.

here’s a video of my issue with the P-51D flaps on the left side.
And a spawn error where the plane is upside down on cold start.

Default P51 mustang is missing the RH flap..
Happens everytime I load it.
Nothing I do changes the outcome.
Quality control fail..

I also have this issue.
The aircraft dosen’t roll when flap is selected, so it is only the graphics, not the flight model at fault.

• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• My first flight in the P-51, selected flaps button on my yoke and to make sure my mappings were correct I checked the outside view to see the left flap down and the right flap up. Aircraft response was if both flaps were working together.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Same issue. Only left side extend or retract. Furthermore the ailerons only move up or down on the left side as well. Re-assigning the controls on the Logitech 3D Pro joystick does nothing.

100% fixable by adding the appropriate XML behaviors from the left wing over into the right wing.
This is fixed in a mod for PC, but is so simple to address for users on Xbox.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Right hand controls not working

I have found that there looks like a corruption in the Mustang aircraft file.
As can be seen from the attached image, when the air aircraft is in the fly now mode, the yoke wheel and the flap system only work on the left-hand side.
Initially we thought it was a flaw in the hardware, but full analysis and recalibration did not fix the problem.
However, changing aircraft selection to the Piper 172, the yoke and flaps worked as they should.
Our conclusion is that the file containing the Mustang code is corrupt

I would like to have a working Mustang file, therefore can you advise where I can locate that file and forward it to you for analysis plus advise where I can obtain a corrected file.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Mustang P51

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Matter resolved by changing Aircraft. Error specific to this aircraft

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Continuous

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Recalibrated Logitech Yoke
  2. Confirmed in MSFS 2024 hardware that axis working correctly
  3. Changed aircraft selection, system worked correctly
