OpenXR XrResult Error

I have been trying to download the latest version of OpenXR but nothing jumps out at me exactly which one to install. All I see is ‘Developer Tools’ version.

So I installed it and now I get the message: XrResult failure (XR_ERROR_RUNTIME_FAILURE).

I can’t now open a demo.

I have gone into the Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1\ApiLayers\Implicit and the ‘known problem’ of the OpenKneeBoard.json file is NOT there, it’s empty.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, a link to where I can download the latest version of OpenXR would also be appreciated!

Are you using HP Reverb G2 or any other WMR based headset? This tool is only for WMR.

You don’t need to download anything OpenXR related to make it work. Windows Mixed Reality portal is all you need. Try launching WMR portal and see if there’s any errors displayed.
