Opinions about Msfs 2024's development

I am not used to expressing opinions without being well informed.
I installed FS2024 thanks to Game Pass and so I tried to test it.

The first time I could not even get to the menu, the second time I didn’t know how to enter the cockpit and the third time when I tried to configure the controls I had a rejection.

That was enough for me to stay with FS2020.

Judging by the way they handle all the mess, it is fair to say that the developer is quite disrespectful to the customers. Just one tiny example. The Bell 407 start up has not been receiving treatment despite the report logged months ago. How hard it could be?

While I can agree on the disastrous way that the fixing of issues is being handled, you do not want to play SU2 right now, as it has a crippling issue where performance tanks near many runways, even on default airports  If they fix that, i feel like free flight at least, there’s some improvement in regards to stutters, etc. .

When they release the next sim, they can forget relying on my money at launch and I hope as many as possible do the same. Not ok to release something in this state and have it like this for so long. You can have the money when you ship what you promise.

You can meassure the current sucess on the Marketplace and 3rd Party items.
The current offering is very limited, and there are no signs of any expansion at the moment. Since a lot of reprogramming is still underway, it’s certainly too big a risk for third-party providers to develop something.
It remains to be seen whether this will pay off for MS/Asobo.

I logged an MS 2020 bug report four years ago in 2021 that got marked bug-logged in 2022 and just fixed in MSFS 2024 SU 2…and in my opinion, they didn’t even fix it correctly.
