Not to labor the point, but if permission was given, there should also be a way to retract permission, but I do not see that option in W10, or MSFS.
I remember Seth talking about this, and he was particularly vague, which struck me as very strange at the time - which is why I remember it.
Assuming data is being sent ( I don’t believe a full CRASH DUMP is ), Users should be able to have the option to see WHAT is being sent.
