this topic was created since one year… I had to reset my settings generally last week. I have massive framedrops while landing/lift off… my guess is that I turned up one setting that was not turned up before as I did not have these massive framedrops earlier… has anyone a suggestion? landing and taking off is now impossible to manage it an elegant way … it sucks :frowning:

Try the basics:

  • Delete and recreate rolling cache file
  • Try with rolling cache off
  • Clear DX cache files
  • Clear GPU driver shader cache

did not help - moreover: The Taog Alouette has a button on the cockpit where you can turn off the dust effects - guess what - the same stutters ~ until 10-15 meters from the ground, then normal framerates

Have you read through this before?

Thanks, I did not read it but I am doing already 80% when it comes to an update.
Your next suggestion will be a clean install I guess.

So let me get this straight: I had a lot of issues with the sim because I like to test things and use new addons etc. This is how I face issues. Someone has to. I am used to share problems and look for answers. It works mainly with people who are eager to understand the problems you face - or - who are having the same issues…

Do you also have the same frame rate stutters when lifting off with helis?
