Orange morning

So, i try to fly at least one flight every day. Usually somewhere near Stockholm because i know the area well. Today was overcast with some wind, when taxying i saw the sock indicate 9 knots, ATIS said clouds began at 600 feet and up.

Took off and tried setting the autopilot to 600 feet. Realized that this is probably not a good idea as i saw a high rise building pass by. So i ascended to 1500-2000 feet and kept around that level.

As i approached Arlanda, i saw the barettes and PAPI lights through a low cloud and did some manovering to stabilize the plane as i approached the ground, had to keep it up until i were ready to touch down (like <10 feet).

I parked as the sun came up. This was a perfect morning: Pretty and a bit challenging. Exactly what I’m looking for in a flight.
