If i buy it do i have to have the orbx central app for it to load into fs 2020?

You do if you buy it from the ORBX site.

If I buy it from within the sim then it will load automatically?

yes, if you buy it on the marketplace within the sim you can install it directly from there with one click.

I recommend the Orbx application. Thru the store you’re on your own. I have everything thru Orbx.

I purchased via the market place because the content manager works well and I can manage add ons there so effectively there is a single place you can manage scenery and other add-ons. In FSX I used the Orbx central app because there was no market place. I try not to install another app or software if all possible

Through the marketplace if you really want to buy it. You don’t need to go anywhere near the Orbx site as the marketplace does the job for you just as well, so why bother?

Well one good reason is that the updates in the ORBX site are a lot quicker and if you run more than one sim you get discounted pricing getting the same scenery for a second sim.

Has Orbx fixed the London city add on? Like is it truly better than it’s initial state?

Its been improved to a degree, yes. The night lighting is better to match default building intensity and objects that were lower quality than default have been removed. The latest version is not on Marketplace though, wont be until September apparently.
