No I’ve not tried this because I have no idea where to start with regards to the add-on items in the community folder but given that Orbx reproduced this on a vanilla install means that it may be conflicting with one of the world updates in my particular case. It’s too much hassle to change things when the sim is now mostly working fine for me.

Don’t forget that there are also Marketplace addons in the Official folder. Just because the Community folder is empty it doesn’t mean that there can be no interferring addons installed.
What’s the most recent official statement from Orbx on this? Additionally, having not reviewed Orbx’ own forums, have the problems been comprehensively outlined for them there?
It’s concerning that they continue to not appear committed to resolving what sound now like addon-breaking issues.

Yes, good questions most likely never to be addressed. Makes you kind of feel like you’ve been had. Not sure what happened at ORBX since my P3D days, but it doesn’t feel like the same operation.

Yeah, it’s hard to believe that the excellent Caribou also was made by Orbx. I will think loooooong and hard before buying another Orbx aircraft. And if I do it will be based only on features already included. Their promises are certainly not worth the lint in my pockets.
I wouldn’t, their aircraft are abandonware.
We shouldn’t rush to conclusions.
They released the PAC 750 and abandoned it.
They released the Caribou and abandoned it.
They released the Blackwing 630 and abandoned it.
But maybe, maybe, they plan to support and enhance the next one!
It’s a shame. I loved this thing when it came out. Unfortunately OrbX have proven themselves to be up there with Aerosoft in terms of trustworthiness. That is to say, they have 0.
Forget new features they have yet to fix the fuel flow bug that’s been with this “product” since it was launched.
