Mamu, I have a question regarding SU5. Flying over Spain at night I get these rows of flashing red lights below that don’t always align with roads or cities. I’m wondering if it may not be your power lines. I would understand there might be warning lights on towers but they would be subtle from altitude.
It is a new Microsoft feature related to very high voltage Powerlines, not my stuff
(Guess coming from the Vertical Obstacles package, the same lights are applied to antennas- and those last one are cool because these structures actually have lights, lit Powerlines instead are not really common…otherwise your truly would have added them long time ago )
Maybe I can include in the upcoming update an exclude for those
Oh that might be a strong possibility considering that area of Spain has a large number of them. So, did Asobo decide on this SU that they all needed overly bright flashing lights?
Any idea when we can expect a Market Place update. It’ll be nice to get rid of the double pylons but it’s great to have this mod. Adds so much to the sim.
However for Xbox is complicated because there is no Package reorder tool available on it, hence an update won’t work,
I need to create an additional package 2024 native because of the mess they did by adding those pylons in the way they did it (not compliant with former ones)
Even with this patch, i have double power pylons placed either inside one another or side-by-side, as well as both low and high pylons. It seems the original MSFS 2024 pylons are still appearing alongside the Mamu pylons I fly mainly in Europe…
No, the stuttering with add-ons with multiple objects instancing (like my global scenery), introduced in su5, was solved in 5.1, some reports from other users
(Tbh there was a single report with 100% repro of a place causing stutters -flying from Santa Monica to klax crossing a river- but the core issue was introduced and later fixed by Asobo engineers)
