Not every aircraft has aileron trim.
In fact, most don’t. Did you check the POH?
Per the POH pg 1 “Airplanes equipped with aileron control booster do not have aileron trim tabs”. Pg 2 notes that P-38L and late P-38J (probably -25 and higher?) are equipped with aileron control hydraulic boost.
If it has it, it’s on the right hand side of the panel just below the bottom edge of the windscreen (pg 8 of the POH).
the earlier models had it on the yoke, but as stated above the L does not have aileron trim control
