It should be under “Piston” aircraft if it installed correctly. Search for “Just”, and it should find it. If it really isn’t there, then it may not have installed correctly.

This is probably user error but does anyone know how to turn up the volume of the ident on the nav radios? I have the volume knob on max but the morse code is barely audible.
There are known issues with that, check after today’s update if it’s better since they tweaked something there again.
It’s like that in other planes as well. You can just about make it out, but no where near as clear as say the XP11 172.
Without being able to check right now : by default you are hearing all the audio as if you were not wearing headphones in the aircraft, which would be very loud and drowning out other sounds.
But there is the option of selecting Headphone simulation in the sim’s audio settings which reduces the volume of the engine sounds but leaves everything that you would hear over the headphones at normal volume levels. That should include identifier codes as well, making them easier to hear.
I don’t think I have ever used that option, but I have seen it. I opted to reduce engine sounds to 30 a long time ago. I’ll have a play with that option today, after the patch drops. {crosses fingers}
Is going to be an update today?
A hotfix for performance issues only. I doubt we’ll see much more than that. And really that’s what people want the most at the moment, just a return to what it was like before the last update.
That’s a full update coming today:

Not just a hotfix.
I think I was at cross purposes, and was referring to the sim hotfix. To be honest, I’m surprised we get the JF Arrow update. I would have thought they would hold it back a day or two, just in case the sim update messes with it. It shouldn’t, but stranger things have happened.
I was talking about the update for this addon, not MSFS
I’m happy they don’t wait.
They confirmed that there will be weekly updates for the addon as long as it’s needed.
I’m interested to see whether your “N - 1” fix for the compass is implemented.
The update is already downloadable from your account on JF’s website by the way. You’ll get version 0.3.0 already.
I checked about an hour or so ago, and it still had 0.2. Downloading the new one now.
That moment when you install, and realise you didn’t back up your custom cameras.
I have them saved out elsewhere, just need to add them back to the default cameras file.
Make it a separate mod folder yourself, it’s easier to handle if you have no manual changes in the install directory at all ![]()
That’s a good idea. What I did was to position the camera exactly where I want it, create a custom camera view, then view that file, and copy/paste the two lines referring to position, and direction, from my custom cameras.cfg into the default aircraft cameras.cfg, then reload via dev. mode.
The odd thing I found was that the camera position upon reload was always a little bit lower, even though the lines are identical. I guess it’s using a different reference point, or something like that.
For me the position has not changed with the update.
Everything runs very smooth, the performance is fixed to match the POH/ODM numbers. Very happy with this release
If you’re making an own mod directory make sure to compare the files that you override if they did more changes and incorporate them into your own version of the file. I always have to do that with my Light Mod, but it’s quite easy.
I copy the old state of the folder before installing an update so you can compare which files they changed and how.
Some things ares till open like the white nav light, but I’m sure they’ll figure them out.
And I’m sure all of that will also benefit for a smoother release of the Turbo Arrow which was delayed due to the pending fixes
Very happy with JF, in their forums there’s always someone from the staff to respond to issues and questions and keeping an updated changelog for the upcoming version. That’s how you do it and I’m happy to have invested in this addon since it feeld like they appreciate any feedback and fix even tiny issues.
176 KTAS in an NA Arrow? I don’t think the Turbo IV does that even up at altitude.
