i think it would be cool for us to have a toggle or something in settings somewhere for passengers and flight crew to speak in free flight, just like career mode. i think its kinda weird to have it locked to career mode only, i dont touch career mode, theres others that also dont touch career mode and bringing this to free flight as well would help with immersion.
Maybe an add on like Passenger2 is what you’re needing?

not everyone is on PC, im an xbox user. personally i don’t believe its right limiting simple things just for PC users.
Give career mode a try, if only for kicks and giggles, then see if you still want to keep this wishlist item. XD

Ah. You said you don’t touch it, so I thought you also meant you hadn’t tried it at all. There’s been a number of complaints about the quality of the passenger dialogue on here and I’m willing to bet a lot of people would rather be able to turn it off in career mode than see it available in free flight.
It’s not a case of us developers limiting sadly. It’s the limits of Xbox. It’s extremely difficult to create such add ons for Xbox as they run outside of Flight Simulator.
