Passive Income generating zero income

Now I’m sure, the problem is with the revenue generation at 00:00 UTC.
At the time of my previous post, I had received nothing for four days in passive income by playing every day. Then I took a 24-hour break and the next day I received everything I was missing.
Yesterday, I didn’t receive anything because I was playing during the theoretical generation at 00:00 UTC.
One important thing is that I play in zulu time, not utc, which is the default EFB time.
I stoped playing before 00:00 UTC and this morning i received my passive income.

Yeah, Passive income works, it’s just there is a lot of confusion because nothing was ever explained to anyone. Some programmer in tundra probably created the system and nobody in Asobo knows how it works.

  1. Always log out before 24:00UTC, do conversion from your time, in EST it is before 7PM.
  2. Do checkup and necessary maintenance on your passive income planes after EVERY 12 hours you spend in the air doing freelance missions, no matter what the plane status shows. It may say GOOD, while the plane is completely broken, and it won’t show unless you do the checkup.
  3. Verify after each maintenance that status is good. If it’s shows all green but it still says ‘To maintain’, check flight controls, fuel equipment and electrical systems. If you see any equipment part 25% or less, even if it’s green - repair it. This should turn your ‘to maintain’ to good. Only THEN your plane is ready for extended flight in passive income.
  4. If you plan to have your passive planes in the air for 10-15 hours, keep in mind that his will equal to 10% - 15% of tear on equipment, so make sure they are adequately fixed and all their parts are at least 50% - 65% green condition.

If you do the above steps, you will always have passive income.

This is what I learned for my passive income to work. You must be flying a plane. The hours you fly you earn passive income. In the United States you must be logged off out of game at 7pm east coast and bye 4pm west coast time. Give it 30 minutes I give it 45 minutes. Then log back into game start your game and check your passive income. I started following these steps and I get my passive income all the time. I did not know what UTC time was tell I looked it up.

One thing that ive found out is that you never ahould take the crew off a plane, fly it for a mission and then put crea back on, if you take crew of and fly a mission, after mission end restart the sim and put crew back on, then restart sim again and fly as usual, if you dont dp this procedure the passive income gets locked for the whole company, therefore I have one plane of each with no crew on in my companies so i always have unlimited planes and missons to choose from without breaking my passive income.
Hope this helps you guys.

You can just set all planes to crew on and leave it. There is no need for any to be set to crew off, unless you do not want to accumulate hours on a particular aircraft.

• Yes, I never got a passive income since starting my company in December 2024

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• One advertising company with one C172 on crew in good shape. Did some flights for myself to earn at least some money with my company, but never had a single credit due to passive income. Changed location 2-3 times (paying with my self-earned credits) to switch to locations with advertising missions. Without any success. Btw there always are only 0-2 missions in Florida (my observation over a timespan of 2 months at least). Unusable for me…

Airplane location does not affect passive income.
If you have only one airplane and you fly it - you will never get passive income. Try either flying as an employee or buy second plane and you will start getting passive income.

@DrInch58
Did you do the maintenance for your 104 planes?

If you fly several hours a day it takes just a few days till your planes are out of order due to wear and tear. They loose 1% wear and tear per hour.

To get passive income:

  • You must have two or more planes.
  • Your planes must be set to Crew: On.
  • You will never get passive income for a plane that you fly in a given 24-hour period.
  • You must fly at least one Freelance mission to build flight hours towards passive income.
  • Flying Employer missions do not count towards passive income flight hours. I do not know if this was intended, however, it currently works this way.

To avoid passive income bugs:

  • Avoid flying your mission within 10 minutes before or after 12:00 AM UTC. To find out what time this is in your local time zone, add your time zone offset. For example, if you are in Eastern Standard Time (UTC-0500) then subtract 5 hours from 12:00 AM to get 7:00 PM. If you are NOT in the SU1 Beta, you may not get passive income at all. If you are in the SU1 Beta, you may get your passive income but not until the following day if you are flying during this time.

• Yes, I flew over midnight UTC for 2 days, not realizing this would invalidate my Passive Income so I lost a sizeable chunk of it (~9 hours of freelance flight time)

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Nothing to add, just really hoping we can get a fix for the midnight UTC issue because for those of us in different time zones it falls right in the sweet spot for some good career-mode flying!

It does not invalidate your passive income earned. Just make sure the following day you logoff prior to 00:00UTC then login about 10 mins after. You will then receive you earned income for the previous periods when you were on at 00:00UTC.

Ah, so multiple days of flying at midnight won’t invalidate the previous ones, they all add up? That’s good news! I had heard that it would only add up the previous 24 hour period if you flew through midnight multiple days in a row.
