Oh yes agreed, but I cannot get the PC24 to steer so I am grinding Cr with the PC12. The CJ4 is now hellishly expensive too and not worthwhile. They need to increase the earnings for the CJ4 and the 737 if they do not want to be fairer with maintenance and initial purchase costs. I have finally bought my 737 but as you say the many folk on here who complain about the CTD’s and mission failures make me reluctant to use it. So I am leaving it on OFF for now. Secondly, the Cr earned on passive for this will not make it worthwhile in terms of maintenance and repairs. How much do you earn for the 737 per mission hours on passive?
If/when fleet management takes more effort than executing a flight from a to b, “passive” income is certainly a misnomer.
Im flying in "Employee", each day Ive got 100-300m via passive income, and Im happy)
I got 563 aircraft in my fleet and ~5B in credit.
I think I’m at the point where I don’t have to worry about making money, I have way more than I can spend.
waiting for the beluga to go on sale)
Wow, can I ask a couple of questions? Good to hear you are happy. 5 Bill. in credit is a LOT! The PC24, how do you get it to steer with nose wheel and how do you maintain 563 aircraft - does it take all day? How much does that cost each time to maintain?
Oh yes, another question - any more tips about what else is going to increase in price with SU3?
For maintain I use “Career Maintenance” utility:
I launch it and go away from PC - maintenance takes about two hours.
And I dont have PC-24, PC-12 only
Could be your keybindings or controller setup. My PC24 worked perfectly right away, no issues. It’s a solid plane with minor bugs, earning about $1.5M-$2M around the UK; it might do better elsewhere. Part servicing is cheap and realistic, unlike the grossly inaccurate costs for some other aircraft.
I use honeycomb alpha/beta and thrustmaster pedals. I will look into that again as I tried various combo’s already. I also get feedback from Casual Click who uses rudder and pushback to overcome it. Also there is a forum blog just for this steering issue. So I am wondering whether it is just thrustmaster pedal users or whether it is across the board any controller peripheral.
In your lucky case, just to back you up with your report, I have watched quite a few youtube vids on the PC24 and seen the other pilots also have no issues with steering - yeah so it might just be my pedals. I will have another play around.
Cheers for the suggestion about the steering. I have managed to fix it in Free flight anyway. A couple more goes in Free flight and then Ill try employee to see if it steers, then Ill use my own PC24. ![]()
Glad you got it sorted. You’ll enjoy the PC24 it’s pretty good ![]()
look at this. the income difference between pc12 / pc 24 / c90 is not huge, but pc12 is significantly cheaper to maintain.
I agree, I have sold all the CJ4’s. I now get a mixture of PC-12’s, DA 62’s, TBM’s, C208’s and a few PC-24’s. The TBM’s and C208’s work out the best value for me as you can buy many more and maintenance is cheaper than PC-12. Only thing it takes a long time to do the maintenance. I decided against getting the add on you suggested until the SIM is working better.
I don’t fly as many missions as you do though so I am slowly getting ahead. You do very well though and were very lucky to have had as much Cr as you did to score from the CJ4’s. I wish we knew what the next massive price rise is.

which planes do you have the most? and for what mission? (cargo, passenger transport etc.)
Ive got 250 x PC-12 in Jet company, 260 x PC-12 in cargo company, and 476 PC-12/PC-24 in medical company
ok thx, and you dont use the other companies?
no I dont. usually im flying in employee mode (all incoming funds from passive income)
i thought you have to fly in freelancer mode to get passive income, i only fly freelancer
No, you will get it to in employee mode but Not free flight.
