The xcub flying through Patagonia my carburetor freezes despite being heated. What can be done to avoid crashing.
You may be overstressing the aircraft (going too fast, etc). I don’t think icing will cause you to “crash” unless you are physically crashing the plane because you can’t see. Try flying lower.
I never had ANY icing and i completed the trip … weather should be fixed so equal for wveryone
Well, I had to make an emergency landing on the glacier and after a while to defrost the engine, I was able to start it again and finish the stage.
