After 50+ attempts - I finally got the S tier for the Heli cargo mission, so now I’m able to go for the Aerial construction specialization.
My tips are below:
- Don’t move out of the blue circle while loading/offloading. The coordinator will tell you off if you did.
- After hooking up the cargo, slowly, and I mean very SLOWLY gain some altitude, and try centering the heli as much as possible before you take off towards the boat.
- THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: The drop is the most annoying, so when you approach the boat, try to gain some altitude and position yourself perfectly in the centre of the blue circle. The minimap helps a lot to gain some perspective of where you are. After you are positioned, slowly, and I really mean SLOWLY lose altitude until you are about 10 feet from the drop point. They want the cargo dropped in the centre of the circle. Don’t slam the cargo on the deck because this is how you lose points. And voila!!!
It will take time and I was probably lucky to get S tier for this.
PS: Always turn on the “landing lights” as you will get that stupid penalty almost everyime if you don’t. The switch is located on the collective console, next to the taxi lights switch.
