Brief description of the issue:

Since SU14, I am seeing weird localized patches of shimmering/static distortion over certain terrain features. It is especially bad at night.

I originally thought this was because of REX Accuseason so I disabled it which drastically reduced it but did not elimate it, so I think something that Accuseason was doing was simply creating more spots where it was visible, but it happens without it.

It seems to be predominantly around water.

Does the same happen on DX11?

Does not seem to

The reason I asked is I also noticed the same as you with DX12 but switching back to DX11 stopped it.

Seems to be a DX12 thing then, but I hope that doesn’t mean Asobo won’t ignore it as they seem to have been doing with other DX12 issues.

DX12 gives me better performance and anti-aliasing so I would much prefer to use it, even with the disappearing ground tiles bug that remains unfixed.
