Brief description of the issue:
After pressing “Fly” and getting to the airport, if I press the ESCAPE key, which normally brings up the pause menu, my computer crashes completely. Not BSOD, Not Flight Simulator Crash, the PC crashes and the CPU fan turns off. I have to hard power-cycle to recover.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
Impossible
Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
I can pick any airplane and any starting airport.
Make world selections
Click “Fly”
Wait for loading until reaching the “Ready to Fly” button.
Hit Escape.
Crash
I have checked and this is NONE of these things I have seen suggested in the forum to others:
Heat: CPU running 60C, GPU ~70C
Power: 950W PS
Dirt: The hardware is clean
This only happens on ULTRA graphics settings, and only when I have two monitors connected. If I disconnect one, things seem fine.
Furthermore, it only happens when I hit ESC. As far as I can tell, I can fly around all I want, as long as I don’t pause.
