Years ago Microsoft Office experienced similar issues. The product was expensive and families could not afford the licensing for software that was required by schools boards. The solution for the families was to use pirated software and ignore the risks. So then Microsoft came out with a toned down version of office call Home and Student. This did alleviate the piracy issue to some extent. Present day people can download an affordable subscription version or students can download a version provided by the school boards and pirated office products are ignored.
Like or not the market dictates the product.
