I agree, I do believe a “quality” aircraft addon can be very complex, however, I “do not” believe it is any more complex than the entire MSFS 2020 system with all of its’ net interfaces, very complex programming and world-wide support.

You are, once again, semi-correct saying “you” will need all 7 manuals for your CRJ. Some of us will and some of us with RL flight experience will not. I suppose it is best to remember the MSFS is really a “Game” and not a pure dedicated flight simulator.

As far as greed. Sadly, there will be greed and that is expected in the world we are living in.
There will be well done addons very reasonably priced and there will be some that are overpriced and smell of greed.
