PC-24 Flare

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Ground effect seems to be extreme, when starting flare about 10-20ft above ground, and setting thrust to idle, the nose is pushing up, so you need to push nose down in order to land - no smooth landing possible

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
PC-24

just try to land with the pc-24

  • abt 20ft above ground set thrust to idle
  • aircraft nose will tend up (extremly)

Yes it’s an issue thats been mentioned in other PC24 threads. Has to do with the flight model and that fact you need a lot of nose up trim to fly hands off on approach. What speed do you fly your approach at?

In another thread I posted a video of a landing, it was smooth but if I let go of the controls it’ll keep the nose in the air for a couple thousand feet of runway.

It’s possible to do a smooth landing but it takes learning a technique that only applies to this aircraft currently
