#PC Default Viewpoint Problems VR

The default viewpoint in several aircraft is bugged.

For instance, in the Pitts S-1S, I’m back in in the seat cushion with seat cushion animation clipping all around me.

In the Cessna 172 (G-1000) the viewpoint is maybe three inches from the instrument panel. In the steam gauge 172, the arrow keys won’t raise the eyepoint at all (the key is correctly bound because it works in all other aircraft) but will lower it move it laterally.

The worst, tho, is the Volocity, which spawns me in about three feet BEHIND THE ENTIRE AIRCRAFT…again, with the animation clipping all around me.

Is there a workaround for this?

(Using the Quest 2, by the way. Windows Store PC version.)

I have the same problem with the velocity (pc/quest2). Did you ever figure out a fix?

Corrected only for a few aircraft in SU8.

It’s incredible this is still an issue. Should just be a couple lines of code to sort this out, right?

You probably don’t even need to touch the code, just tweak the parameterization. The question is how come this was broken (if I remember correctly in SU5).
