PC for MSFS

Hi All!

So i’ve invested in a PC and i’d like to get MSFS (haven’t had it since 2000/2004. Started on '95 I think it was lol. I’m based in the UK.

So i’m looking at

MSFS2020
Fenix A320? That seems to come up most as the better A320 add-on?
Thrustmaster TCA A320 SS & Throttles
Thrustmaster pedals

(I work as an engineer on the A320 so interaction & realism on the A320 is key for me).

Also, whats the best A330/A340/A350 add-on?

I know it seems a lot but any guidance would be great, thanks!

Yes to the Fenix A320 if you want the best and are prepared to pay the very reasonable cost. Sadly there are no real options for the A330/A340/A350 at this time but there are at least some A330 possibilities on the horizon.

Thanks very much for the info. As for the hardware, is it all compatible with MSFS?

Yes, the TCA is popular amongst Airbus simmers as a mid range option. There are high end solutions for a lot more money.

Just out of curiosity, (ik this is off topic) but how much did you pay for your pc?

Iiyama 34” curved screen (bought separately)

Thank you :+1:

Hi all, can anyone indicate roughly how long it takes for MSFS to install? I have 10 discs and the 1st one is taking ages.

Thanks

Need I say more?

I’m having all sorts of issues with the installation at the moment. First set of discs weren’t working. Got a new set sent out, but now I have to remove some files already stored on the computer somewhere. So frustrating.
