Pc settings fs2020

by the end of July, I’d like to install fS2020, I have this hardware you think:
I9 9900k up to 5.0ghz
Nvidia rtx 2070 super
Asus rog maximum XI wifi
32gb di ram
2 Ssd m2 1tb

Hey, I’ve moved your topic into #self-service:pc-hardware for further discussion.

Your gaming rig is ready for takeoff

I’m running fine with very similar hardware, only difference is I have an AMD 3700X CPU, runs pretty well for me at 1440p at the moment.
By the end of July we should have Sim update 5 released which is promising some significant performance increases so you should be good to go.

As far as I know, Asobo has outsourced some of the CPU to the GPU and the GPU is now busy instead of the CPU. Those who are currently CPU-limited could then get more FpS. But those that are already GPU-limited might get even worse FpS. I think there will be lots of complaints about FpS losses again because those are now GPU limited. Let’s be surprised.

Hi,
I will be in this case, my AMD 5950x is unemployed compared to my GTX 1080 8GO graphics card, currently I have at least 30FPS in large cities or close to the ground and it goes up to 40/45 fps at altitude (scale 90, parameter mix on high and ultra) I am quite satisfied.

But if they unload the processor to charge the graphics card, many are going to have a bad surprise.

Especially since it is easier and cheaper to find and change the processor (even by changing the motherboard and RAM, than to find a good graphics card.

We will see what will happen when we have the update, I hope not to lose at least the performance that I have currently.

Good Flights to all

We all hope so. We will know more with the release of SU5. :crossed_fingers:

Those who are gpu limited getting worse fps? I highly disagree.Thats not how it works.Games that are gpu limited tend to perform better than those CPU limited.
Let’s wait until we get the update ourselves.

It’s quite simple. The gaming magazines all report that with the SU5 the CPU load is low and graphics load is now at 100%. If I had a weak GPU but a good CPU before, I will be even more GPU-limited with SU5. The load of the saved CPU calculation does not disappear, but is redistributed to the GPU. I expect there will be a lot of complaints about performance problems.
