PC Specs outdated?

Hey guys,

I have a feeling my PC is outdated now, I have an RTX 2070 super, 32GB Ram, I7-9700K CPU, liquid cooling etc. I use the FENIX A320 a lot however my FPS is low, my graphic settings are not that high really and when I use VATSIM I can lose up to 12 frames. Any suggestions into how I can improve performance?

The Fenix is a hog, no doubt about it, a few things you can try.

  1. By default it uses 4K Liveries, you can go into Livery Manager and change that to 2K
  2. In the EFB Turn off the Cabin Modeling
  3. Lower Cloud Quality, TLOD, Objects Level Of Detail
  4. By default, the displays are rendered on the CPU, if you’re CPU bound and the GPU is not fully utilized, you can switch this to use the GPU (in Fenix Manager)
  5. You can also turn down the quality of the displays in Fenix Manager
