Is there any difference between the two? Lots of YouTube videos showing side by side comparison, but I can’t see any difference. I think it’s more depending on your monitor than anything else IMHO.
Haven’t seen any of these comparison videos… Can you send a link?
Well, video comparison on HDR using YouTube won’t work really good because of compression. Also you have to make sure that 1. it is an actual HDR video (so it’s not converted to 16bit video) and that you watch it on some HDR display.
Also on PC vs XBox one of the key points is freeware enhancements like reshade which you will not be able to get on XB. Other than that you got more settings you can tweak on PC to take advantage of the additional power available (you can also alter UserOpt.cfg manually to increase things like the terrain LOD distance).
On pure vanilla graphics there won’t be much of a difference visually. Anyway XB has some disadvantages which not belong to graphics (you rely on the market place, so no freeware is available and some 3rd party payware will come in late or not at all)
Finally: On PC you may have higher and more stable framerates depending on the system (ofc.)
I think the Xbox could definitely use a reshade type of program.
It’s not close. There’s a reason an Xbox costs what it does vs. a PC capable of running the game full out. My GPU alone was 5 Xboxes.
Wow. That’s dedication to a hobby!
Ask me how much money I have invested in my sport shooting!
If you have an HDR Display, try to watch this video of my flight. I always record my flight in 4K HDR quality, so if you can watch this on your XBox and you can check to make sure it’s running in HDR, then you should be able to see it. It’s not a side-by-side comparison, so you have to watch other SDR video to compare.
Just subscribed to your channel!
Oh I do plenty of that too. Let’s just say my Sig collection is quite impressive…
I remember back when you get a pretty good video card for only 3 Xboxes.
I’m a fan of the IMI/IWI gear myself…
. Anyway, I’ll bring this back on course…the sky is the limit with the PC stuff. Someone else said, and it applies to me, that the console is protecting me from myself!
It surely is. I try to forget what I’ve spent on this thing. With that said, divided by the hours flown, it’s not so bad. At least that’s what I tell myself and my girlfriend. Lol.
