Pc24 (msfs24), nosewheel steering disabled after landing?

VR- Career Mode PC24 - Non-Beta, steering worked fine upon takeoff, great turning radius. Skipped mid-flight to destination, descent at around FL120, both engines shutdown, got them restarted, nice smooth landing, no steerage. Went to settings and did a re-bind, no luck. As a last resort, tried to keybind my mouse for steerage, shows it bind, still no steerage. Went to screen mode, out of VR, same thing. That’s 3 times now I’ve had that issue with steerage and I have no clue about the engines shutting down, plenty of fuel, all switches were in correct position…just hit the engine left and right restart buttons and she restarted. The 2nd time I had no steerage, I could not kill the engines, switches overhead, left and right fuel were already in the off position, but engines were running.

I just tested it in free flight, sure enough, nosewheel stearing is disabled after first landing

I just realized, is this a joke? Half a year after release, even the simplest things aren’t fixed?

Well ain’t that a …
I saved up flying that horrible big cargo Cessna 208B to purchase the beautiful PC24 only to not be able to turn on landings. Then I check the forums and see it’s been an issue in forever. Yet again more broken game mechanics that are a game breaker. I’ve slogged so hard to get this far and saved up for it, now I can’t enjoy a darned perfect landing.

well.. I can’t find proper words after playing this game especially career mode

You can use sim rate instead of skip to descent, you also get more money for the time so it’s about a wash income-wise. I did a lot of PC-24 missions before I even noticed it because I almost never did Skip. It handles faster sim rates than the bigger planes like the 737 so it’s not too bad. It does suck down the fuel at twice the rate it should but you can bind Add Fuel for now (do NOT use “and Repair”, that will fail the mission).

MSFS2024 bugs aside it’s a nice plane once you get used to the Honeywell avionics (part of what I enjoy is learning different avionics systems though and Honeywell actually has youtube videos on it that I learned from).

But I also do hope we get the PC-12 PRO and the newer PC-24 versions (increased range and capacity) with the Garmin avionics.

My biggest frustration with the PC-24 is the actual full flaps stall speed should be around 83 knots full loaded and the MSFS2024 version can barely handle 110.
