Hello,
I have a secondary screen with extended desktop (another output of my GTX1080), if I move the mouse cursor to the secondary screen, the GPU graph jump, the timing in ms is divide by 2 on the fps display in developer mode. the result is less stutters.
anyone else can confirm?
For everyone still demanding a response from the devs, they already have acknowledged there are issues.
Thanks
Although itās not an official response⦠Itās something to begin withā¦
I really wanted the Aerosoft CRJ too but the state of the sim right now indeed makes this purchase hard to justify.
Regarding the Marketplace. Too many bugs with the game, too many bugs with Xbox servers etc right now and the Microsoft requirement that those modules you buy from the marketplace be validatedā¦so had better hope there was no glitch with their system when you want to use them.
Finally. In the absence of any proof of purchase provided for Marketplace purchases (for steam users at least) there is no proof you ever owned it should some other glitch on the microsoft end remove the record and you end up in dispute with zendesk support.
Same here. For me, the sim has become essentially unflyable. It helps a little to reduce the graphical settings, but even then it will eventually bog down. Landing is impossible.
I guess I have to wait until the NEXT update . . . again!
it would be a good point if Asobo talk about the next patch
when ? any ETA ?
I stop to fly with FS2020 actually
and I stop any buying from the market (plane, airport) till this problem is solved
Yes I was going to get this too. However looking at some performance issues brought up on another forum has put me off purchasing it. It seemed uncertain and inconclusive as to whether the issues were down to FS2020 or the CRJ. I will therefore be holding off any purchase until the performance concerns are laid to rest.
Itās not the CRJ. I can reproduce in the stock 152.
Okay, thatās good.
Thank you for the clarification
Hello. My friend and I were flying in group mode to see the pyramids, when we both, at the same time and spot, experienced frame drop to 15 fps and heavy (x2) cpu utilization compaired to normal flight - againā¦
We have different systems (pc1: intel i9 & amd 6900XT) and (pc2: ryzen 3900x & rtx 3090) - so hardware and driver issues causing this seems highly unlikely⦠This seems to be a server or software issue⦠Prior UK update we flew together and enjoyed this beautiful simulator without issues, and have both invested significantly in hardware directly because of MSFS - but we are now extremely frustrated as the simulator is unplayable.
We have all been patient as MSFS is cutting edge, and I have previously had to do full system reinstall without complaining⦠But we are now starting to feel left behind⦠When will this be fixed - any estimates?
Nothing wrong with my connection, but there is something wrong with MSFS servers not delivering. I have a one gig fiber connection at my house, just me and my wife and she barely gets on the net, spends the time reading books. I download games from Steam at 942 Mbps and still MSFS fails to deliver the stream steady enough for a smooth flight. I believe at this point that that is the major issue right now. Our systems are stuttering, frames drooping, etc because the stream were are getting is not consistent plus there are areas in the world map that will actually cause the sim to crash (2 FPS)
A lot of users seem to be stating that performance gets really bad of certain areas and it always happens in those specific areas.
Could these performance problems be caused by the Terrain Spike fix? Was that fix in WU3 or SIM3?
Did the problem start at the same time as the Terrain Spikes were fixed and possibly at those locations?
not certain, but i think spikes were fixed in WU3. Most of my problems started with Sim update 3
my graphics are in low, I have an i710700k and a gtx 1660super
and look at the fps I can get.
apparently this one does have serious color cpu management problems.
notice in aftburn the core 15 is 93% when the others practically do not work, it seems that I went back to 2006 pro fsx where there was no support for mult colors.
For any devs or moderators reading this:
Wouldnāt it be helpful to specifically ask for hardware information on your support tickets? You currently donāt ask a user to submit any information on their CPU, GPU, RAM, driver versions or provide any specific diagnostic files such as the DXDiag.
I imagine information such as this, gathered methodically from users serious enough to actually submit a ticket, would help immensely.
Loaded up half an hour ago. FPS not bad in menu.
Decided to check the infamous 76T and already crashed to 8fps in the worldmap.
Probably about 40fps on take-off at the airport I had chosen to leave from so I could approach 76T from air.
Shortly after this game crashed to 2fps or less. Honestly it was hard to know whether the game was actively paused or running.
Fans spiining out at max chat (CPU) whilst GPU basically flatline at 0.0%
Couldnāt even see what it was doing in Performance monitor. Honestly. It looked like the game was not actually doing anything.
Everything basically froze up. ATC, Esc, meu etc all really unresponsive.
Had to Crtl Alt Delte out of the game.
Restarted pc. Launched game. Entered game at about 9fps.
Turned off ALL online options and now I have 60fps
I proved the river jordan stutter area today. One more time 100% reproducible.
Also you can fly in an out of this area. If you manage to turn 180 dregrees whilst flying with 2fps you leave the stutter area as easy as you hit it.
I suppose our $60 - $120 can be used by Asobo to hire good software engineers and beta testers.
Its broke for me. Not enjoyable. Wondering it they will ever get my smooth default small airports stutter free again. Seems like a long slow procession toward dust gathering. No use to buy any addons now.
WU3: at last, Asobo added more realism to the flight experience: the āBermudas Triangleā effect. You are flying in perfect conditions, +50 fps, and BANG, entering a certain area your FPS drops, the game freezes, your CPU seized for a heat shock.
As for the real Bermudas Triangle, there is no apparent explanation for the anomaly: maybe hidden flattened terrain spikes hitting the plane? Maybe the invisible Dome as in the Stephen Kingās bestseller? Who knows? And most importantly: do they (Asobo) know how to fix it? Stay tuned, this is gets more and more interesting.
