I have the 76T Bishop bug like everybody else, but I don’t have the 100% CPU load, 15% GPU load bug
I only bought basic MSFS 2020 version for 60€ and a Xbox One controller - I spend below 100€
I make flight model mods, that is I have the airplanes I want, not the ■■■■■■ flight models Asobo offers.
I think I have a very (cheap) mainstream computer with AMD 3300X CPU and Nvidia 1660 Super GPU. I hope that Asobo/Microsoft test on mainstream computers like mine.
And about control: We can vote, vote and vote. Please EVERYBODY having MSFS 2020 test location 76T Bishop, check that you have the 1 frames per second stutter bug and VOTE! EVERYBODY VOTE please! Fix this bug is more important than any nice feature. I want to see 2000 votes!
…A whole 2 weeks under the influence of The Bug and it seems like there are at least 2 kinds/versions of MSFS out there…I keep seing so many Simmers out there to continue uploading their works in places like Flightsim.to and elsewhere,the Sim Marketplace continuously gets new products and on Youtube there’re so many new uploaded videos of people continue flying around or do their stuff like before.What’finally 's going on here?Are we living in some kind of Twilight Zone or something?Because this is exactly what it looks like!!It’s just don’t make sense,any sense at all!!Are we the onlyones haunted by The Bug here or what?And appart the very nature of the Bug itself the biggest question remains why there’re so many remained completely unaffected!Because except a number of people who indeed just don’t happened to fly into a Stutter Area yet there are others who actually did and found nothing strange. I’m almost certain,if and when The Bug will ever be discovered and crushed,the main reason why didn’t everyone was affected will remain unanswered.
The problem isn’t just at 76T , it can occur anywhere.
If I buy a new car and it does 60 mpg from day one but after my first compulsory free service it only does 30 mpg the garage would have to fix it or refund all my cash. What makes ASOBO so different ?
I think most of them do not realize how bad their sim is running. I have seen a lot of YouTube Videos/Streams with FPS counters on the bottom which show FPS below 25.
… It certainly this is the case for most of them.However I have a friend of mine a couple of blocks way and just because I didn’t believed him either insisting he wasn’t having such kind of issues I personally went to his place and saw in my own eyes.In the exact same place I was having serious problems he was perfectly o.k. with fps unaffected.Only difference is his rig is on the mid to mid/low end compared to mine (and so many more others here) being to high/top end and the same counts for his in Sim settings as well.Apart from this everything was running perfectly smooth and normal on his Sim.
Maybe after all we must downgrade our rigs like pictured couple of days ago in here by a friend and his Amiga rig…!!

Maybe some users are less affected, some will not notice it, some just flying in areas not affected. This doensnt’ change the fact that it is a serious issue that affects many, if not most of the simmers. Especially the enthusiasts who fly a lot in different areas, using high end systems.
Everyone please calm down! It’s only been two weeks of an unusable sim after an extremely vital update that we absolutely couldnt live without. Microsoft is undoubtedly working 24/7 to resolve this and sends status messages every night using teepee smoke, you just need to open your eyes! And I dont know why everyone’s complaining about 2 FPS at 76T, I get 3 FPS on my system. You all need to check your settings and fix it yourself, there are a lot of YouTube tutorials out there and the fixes arent useless at all! You should also know how to program, as it’s the complete responsibility of the customer to fix broken software and spend hours upon hours tweaking and testing despite being well over the recommended requirements after spending 3 grand on a new system. So please calm down and stop complaining, I’m sure itll be fixed by April 31, 3021.
Apart the over 1000 votes the number of new guys to the forums are also very noticeable!I can’t remember another thread with similar new participations even though I’m here from the very first begining.That means there were many Simmers our there not even participated ever in the forums and they just did so only because of the specific problem.Im 'sure the newly joined members here will have certainly be increased during the last couple of weeks because of this.
Can confirm as I am one of them. Never spent so much time in a Forum before. I dont care about theories or possible fixes anymore. Just fix my beloved sim already.
I guess also the lower you set your draw distance, the less chance you hit the bad spots and the less effect they will have. It certainly runs better at 100 terrain detail compared to 200 when things get bad on my system. Then I can increase it again after the bad area is behind me.
It’s so random, last night I set my render scale to 150 for a while. I usually have it at 200, GPU limited, smoother performance but lower fps. At 150 I’m cpu limited, yet with 200 terrain detail it ran perfectly fine and much faster for a long time until I hit another dead zone.
Anyway, did you try to load 76T on his rig? Can’t avoid that one with lower draw distance.
In fact no I didn’t but once you mentioned it I’ll have him load it and thoroughly test it to see how it goes.I’ll report back as soon as he informs me how it went.
Agreed. Voting and sharing experiences on these forums are all we can do. Also not on a fancy rig. RTX 2060 and otherwise middle of the road specs. But it run fine and now its not. I’d like a 3:1 ratio of flying to problem-solving. I think that’s fair with sims. Last two weeks its been the other way around. Will try again once a fix is pushed through with the next world update. Fingers crossed.
