Hi. Not sure I have seen this in the forums before but I have noticed that on my rig, if I detach the ATC window and move it over onto any of my other monitors the sim is not running on, my frame rate goes up 15-20 fps. If this hasn’t been noticed in other forums, I’ll put in a Zen ticket. Be handy if others could see if it helps their frame rate.

it’s just your FPS monitor adding up the FPS of the sim window and the ATC window. It’s a common thing.
You’re not gaining any FPS by undocking windows.
For fun, try and undock all the windows. You’ll see your monitor reporting 100+ FPS, but you’ll see that your actual sim is having lower FPS.

We had someone make a thread the other day about how they achieved 200+ FPS by undocking all windows. So don’t feel so bad.
Open the fps counter in dev mode. You’ll actually see popping out windows drops your fps if anything.
The way Asobo handle external Windows is strange and 3rd party fps counters won’t work reliably with it, often reporting much higher numbers than what you’re actually getting.
I feel bad for every new person to post this, filled with hope, excited to share their not yet discovered hack.
