Glad you’re having a (mostly) good experience!
The i7-8700 might be the issue, but there are things you can try that might help.
- Increase the size of the Rolling Cache. By default it is set at 8 GB; try 16GB and see if that helps
- Increase the size of your page file to least equal your RAM.
Do the first step first, and change only one thing at a time… that way you’ll know if your change made a difference.
