See here too. FPS Droppes every x seconds, Frametimes spikes very excessive, since build .21 and now also in .22.
.19 was smoother

I get the same when I look up from the MCDU to the front windows. Never used to do that, but it’s literally the only performance glitch I get nowadays.
are you referring to the latest windows Update? i am on a 5080, latest nvidia drivers and windows version. i also notice significant performance regression since either the last beta, windows update or nvidia drivers, not sure where its coming from. but the fps feels lower then what i am seeing, it feels sluggish and there are many stutters, especially when looking around.
Since few days, I started to have small to heavy stutters/freezes in the main menu, even before starting any flight. I reset my console xbox x & cleared the storages/reserves, but nothing helped.
There were no stutters at all on my system in VR for several beta builds. But now I’m getting stutters on the main thread every 5 seconds or so (it’s random) and the scenery jerks as I’m flying over it ever since beta. 23 and possibly .22. System specs

RTX 5090
Initially I thought it might be one of my addons, so I disabled sayintentions.ai, and used a stock Asobo plane instead of my Blacksquare Bonanza and checked whether any of my graphics settings had changed from the last update everything ran smoothly. It made no difference, I’m still having random stutters.
Today I’ve have regular bad stutters every 3 seconds once I got below about 5 thousand feet, continuing very bad while taxiing. I’ve not seen this before - presumably down to update 23. VRAM level about normal - 24 fps not good, but hasn’t caused this type of regular stutter in the past.
I’m getting stutters as well over big cities. This was never the case on previous builds. I used to have stutters every now and then but now it’s worse especially over cities even on high altitudes.
The development team seemed to turn a blind eye to the complained stutter problem, allowing it to be more obvious in the beta update, not even admitting it to be a Known Issue.
I switched from SU3 to SU4 today. My system is Ryzen 7800x3d + RTX 4090. The overall impression is positive, but camera rotations cause very strong fps drawdowns, and this spoils the whole impression. I see that I’m not the only one with this problem. I noticed that if you turn the camera to the side, hold it for a few seconds and bring it back, there are no problems. But the more the camera is in the rotated position, the greater the fps drawdown will be when it returns. Please fix it. It’s very annoying.
