I was landing at an airport in Africa (forget which one), and saw the same. I assumed it was an old crash, meant to look it up, but forgot.
Have you checked on Bing Maps Aerial image? I tried looking for it for you, but it feels like looking for a needle in a haystack since I’m unfamiliar with the area based on your two clues: Outside Paso Robles and North along the highway by Camp Roberts.
It just seems like the AI forgot to remove the aircraft from the satellite image. Which makes sense since the AI only removes them for aircraft images within an airport.
